After 6 played minutes, Rodeo's Corozo Armijo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dennis Creus came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rodeo reached it. Venceslas Vilela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Creus having to interfere. Samaniego Andibidria kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, UD Pinilopata's Samaniego Andibidria got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute of the match Poroso Hero shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dennis Creus showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Venceslas Vilela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venceslas Vilela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Dennis Creus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dennis Creus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Fermoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. With a little luck, UD Pinilopata's Dennis Creus got control of the ball when Venceslas Vilela tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 23rd match minute, UD Pinilopata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samaniego Andibidria to maneuver through the defense. From close distance Venceslas Vilela pressed in the 1-0 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 25 minutes into the game. Frutos Neila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rixon Solares in the 33rd minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Rodeo's goal looked a bit too open when Paz Canado came free, but Frutos Neila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, UD Pinilopata's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Venceslas Vilela fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 40th minute, Samaniego Andibidria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute Rodeo were awarded a corner. Poroso Hero went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Rodeo's Poroso Hero to fire away a dangerous shot which Dennis Creus despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Paz Canado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paz Canado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
Roris Masdeu kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Paz Canado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Rodeo's Telmo Cegama got a free kick in the 56th minute. With a little luck, Rodeo's Frutos Neila got control of the ball when Rixon Solares tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rodeo's Eugenio Fermoso got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eugenio Fermoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Creus having to interfere. Roris Masdeu charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roris Masdeu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 72nd match minute, Rodeo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roris Masdeu to maneuver through the defense. Zacarias Elizondo, 72 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 74 minutes into the match, UD Pinilopata's goal looked a bit too open when Venceslas Vilela came free, but Dennis Creus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Rodeo's Eugenio Fermoso in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye UD Pinilopata's goalie prevented a goal. Dennis Creus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Venceslas Vilela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paz Canado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rodeo's goalkeeper Frutos Neila, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With 92 minutes on the clock, Martinez Candelo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for UD Pinilopata! Dennis Creus had in the 95thth minute some difficulties stopping Poroso Hero's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Dennis Creus came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Rodeo's Poroso Hero. But to his dismay, Poroso Hero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. UD Pinilopata's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
