An unexpectedly hard shot by Candelario Lama in the 3rd minute of play forced Quinchul's goalkeeper Augusto Llamazares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Julio Urdapilleta came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Bodeguita SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julio Urdapilleta couldn't finish the play. Augusto Llamazares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José-Luis Lampez, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The supporters of Quinchul booed when Bodeguita SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Candelario Lama didn't get a good kick on the ball. Candelario Lama blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Augusto Llamazares having to make a save. The supporters of Quinchul booed when Bodeguita SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Candelario Lama didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Julio Urdapilleta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bodeguita SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Julio Urdapilleta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Augusto Llamazares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Augusto Llamazares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Candelario Lama, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ruperto Fontao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Candelario Lama managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bodeguita SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Candelario Lama was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Augusto Llamazares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 49th minute, Ruperto Fontao got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ruperto Fontao to strike the kick off in the second half. Julio Urdapilleta hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Xandro Nobal's late challenge caught a Quinchul's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xandro Nobal helped the player get up and apologised. Alejandro Lillo, 59 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. José-Luis Lampez struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Augusto Llamazares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bodeguita SC. Bodeguita SC's Ibarra Sabugal suffered a concussion in the 67th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. When Hernández Caroll fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quinchul's protests and gave Hernández Caroll a yellow card for diving instead. Hernández Caroll kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Suárez Videgaray sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 72 played minutes Bodeguita SC got a freekick which was hit by Julio Urdapilleta. Xencio Tovar's late challenge caught a Bodeguita SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xencio Tovar helped the player get up and apologised. Augusto Llamazares made an important save on a dangerous shot by José-Luis Lampez in the 78th minute. In the 81st play minute José-Luis Lampez came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Augusto Llamazares. 1-1. 85 minutes into the match, Suárez Videgaray notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Bodeguita SC's Luis Placiencia. Luis Placiencia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 89 minutes, Augusto Cueva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bodeguita SC and the Quinchul players grew even worse after the yellow card. Xandro Nobal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Augusto Llamazares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
