With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luis Placiencia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 6 minutes, Ariel Ruich managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UD Chillavi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ariel Ruich was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 8th minute, José-Luis Lampez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Estacio Guemez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Estacio Guemez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Candelario Lama, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 16 minutes into the game, UD Chillavi's Luzuriaga Bello nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luis Placiencia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Luzuriaga Bello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Placiencia having to interfere. After 19 minutes, Marin Bañuelos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UD Chillavi and the Bodeguita SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marin Bañuelos hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, José-Luis Lampez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bodeguita SC's supporters rose to their feet, but José-Luis Lampez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Estacio Guemez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ariel Ruich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Luis Placiencia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Augusto Cueva's late challenge caught a UD Chillavi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Augusto Cueva helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bodeguita SC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! 37 minutes into the match, UD Chillavi's Ariel Ruich sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luis Placiencia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Estacio Guemez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José-Luis Lampez in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st match minute, Bodeguita SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Candelario Lama to maneuver through the defense. Ariel Ruich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Luis Placiencia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ariel Ruich made the kick off in the second half. Estacio Guemez made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Xandro Nobal sent off a good shot on target. UD Chillavi's Estacio Guemez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save UD Chillavi from getting a goal against them. When Xarles Masferrer fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UD Chillavi's protests and gave Xarles Masferrer a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Bodeguita SC booed when UD Chillavi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xarles Masferrer didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ariel Ruich in the 64th minute of play forced Bodeguita SC's goalkeeper Luis Placiencia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Luzuriaga Bello managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Chillavi's supporters rose to their feet, but Luzuriaga Bello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luis Placiencia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Ariel Ruich came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the UD Chillavi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ariel Ruich couldn't finish the play. Xove Villarreal charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xove Villarreal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Xove Villarreal kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, UD Chillavi's goal looked a bit too open when Candelario Lama came free, but Estacio Guemez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luzuriaga Bello struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Luis Placiencia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UD Chillavi. Bodeguita SC's José-Luis Lampez got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ariel Ruich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
