Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Firme FC's Alberto Barcenilla started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Firme FC's Jorge Naranjo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chalá Herreras in the 7th minute of play. Baldeón Zotillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jorge Naranjo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chalá Herreras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Firme FC defense, Chalá Herreras kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jorge Naranjo. The Firme FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jorge Naranjo should have stopped the shot. Boris Maoño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Barcenilla in the 15th minute of play. The supporters of Firme FC booed when UD Guasaya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Colado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bohórquez Borroel struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Boris Maoño didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Firme FC. 25 minutes into the game, Azconzábal Tapia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Firme FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UD Guasaya the free kick. After 25 played minutes Firme FC got a freekick which was hit by Azconzábal Tapia. Chalá Herreras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Jorge Naranjo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boris Maoño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Barcenilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Bohórquez Borroel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute Chalá Herreras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Naranjo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. UD Guasaya's Chalá Herreras got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baldeón Zotillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Firme FC's goalkeeper Jorge Naranjo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baldeón Zotillo. With his leg Jorge Naranjo managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when UD Guasaya's Chalá Herreras fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Firme FC's Maximo Rafecas got a free kick in the 57th minute. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Baldeón Zotillo sped through Firme FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jorge Naranjo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Barcenilla in the 63rd minute of play forced UD Guasaya's goalkeeper Boris Maoño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When UD Guasaya's Baldeón Zotillo in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Firme FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 67 played minutes Firme FC got a freekick which was hit by Azconzábal Tapia. Jorge Naranjo was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Baldeón Zotillo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Baldeón Zotillo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. 73 minutes into the match, UD Guasaya's goal looked a bit too open when Bohórquez Borroel came free, but Boris Maoño reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boris Maoño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Barcenilla in the 77th minute of the match. Alberto Barcenilla scored 2-3 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Boris Maoño, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Firme FC's Jorge Naranjo got control of the ball when Chalá Herreras tried to sneak it across the goal line.
