The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alberto Barcenilla to strike the kick off in the second half. Firme FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Maximo Ascazua in the 53rd minute. After taking down the ball on Firme FC's corner Cristobal Cea fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Zarbonin Boñal quite easily take care of the ball. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind UD Wenceslao's goalkeeper Zarbonin Boñal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jorge Naranjo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zamora Castañiza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute, Cristian Belloso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UD Wenceslao fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Zarbonin Boñal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bohórquez Borroel, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Bohórquez Borroel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Firme FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bohórquez Borroel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zarbonin Boñal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Zamora Castañiza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zarbonin Boñal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Barcenilla's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Cristian Belloso notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Firme FC's Jorge Naranjo. Jorge Naranjo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Bohórquez Borroel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute Alberto Barcenilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zarbonin Boñal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
