After a rather tough play, CD Cananvalle's Fernández Bucaran got a free kick in the 11th minute. Zabal Puga made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Juan Encina sent off a good shot on target. In the 15th match minute, CD Cananvalle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jácome Arnero to maneuver through the defense. Juan Encina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Zabal Puga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Xanti Junco was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. CD Cananvalle's Zabal Puga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Encina in the 67th minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urrutia Santos couldn't finish the play. In the 88thth minute of the game Fernando Bascones who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CD Chanchas's Xanti Junco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 90th minute, Garcia Castiñeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zabal Puga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urrutia Santos in the 93rd minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. CD Cananvalle had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
