Jose Tercilla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpected shot in the 9th minute by Leonardo Irabien got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jose Tercilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jose Tercilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Candelario Vozmediano having to interfere. Candelario Vozmediano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonardo Irabien in the 14th minute. Coronel Ariza took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Paúl Bonifaz. CD Puscamal's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 25th match minute, CD Puscamal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo Norzagaray to maneuver through the defense. If Jose Tercilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paúl Bonifaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urko Madinabeitia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the match, Leonardo Irabien notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Sadayacu's Candelario Vozmediano. Candelario Vozmediano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 46 minutes into the match, Sadayacu's Urko Madinabeitia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paúl Bonifaz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Candelario Vozmediano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Tercilla in the 52nd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the match, CD Puscamal's goalkeeper Paúl Bonifaz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cruz Munguia. Paúl Bonifaz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Urko Madinabeitia's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. After 67 minutes, Urko Madinabeitia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sadayacu and the CD Puscamal players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th minute, Urko Madinabeitia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cruz Munguia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Paúl Bonifaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Coronel Ariza hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Cruz Munguia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Urko Madinabeitia came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Sadayacu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urko Madinabeitia couldn't finish the play. Candelario Vozmediano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonardo Irabien's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. CD Puscamal's Paúl Bonifaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urko Madinabeitia in the 97th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. CD Puscamal had won after a very even match.
