After some careless play in the Pongal defense, Machado Jauregui kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jácome Campuzano. The Pongal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jácome Campuzano should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Pongal's Zoil Duarte slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Xulio Cepa. That made the score 1-1 after 16 minutes of play. The supporters of Lloa FC booed when Pongal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Salsoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Lloa FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Leo Echeverria hit a great ball. Calisto Hudobro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jácome Campuzano having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lloa FC's Yago Raña got a free kick in the 40th minute. If Cristian Asarta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xulio Cepa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zoil Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jácome Campuzano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calisto Hudobro in the 59th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Lavalle Chirino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Lloa FC's Ximeno Anduiza got a free kick in the 65th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Pongal's goal looked a bit too open when Calisto Hudobro came free, but Jácome Campuzano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xulio Cepa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zoil Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Jácome Campuzano was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Michael Cuesta. Cristian Asarta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Xulio Cepa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Calisto Hudobro struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Jácome Campuzano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lloa FC. When Calisto Hudobro came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Lloa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Calisto Hudobro couldn't finish the play. Jácome Campuzano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calisto Hudobro in the 96th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Lloa FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
