Omar Vilela's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paredes Estua read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. When Ibarra Jonsansoro came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Pun fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ibarra Jonsansoro couldn't finish the play. Pun's Alfonso Riaza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Pun from getting a goal against them. Pun's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 94 played minutes Pun's Omar Vilela stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Paredes Estua stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing CD Zeilan of the goal.
