Rodriguez Sebastian might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juan-Alfredo Gargollo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rodriguez Sebastian ran back to his position shaking his head. UD Ayantar's Juan-Alfredo Gargollo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calisto Herias in the 9th minute of play. Delgado Urtiaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Urroz in the 14th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Viana in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Delgado Urtiaga saved Cucuy SC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Urroz in the 17th minute of play forced Cucuy SC's goalkeeper Delgado Urtiaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan-Alfredo Gargollo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Calisto Herias showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. After having played for 25 minutes, Humberto Urroz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UD Ayantar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Humberto Urroz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27th minute, Humberto Urroz made a precise shot to the right of Delgado Urtiaga. Cucuy SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Calisto Herias in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan-Alfredo Gargollo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rodriguez Sebastian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

With a little luck, Cucuy SC's Delgado Urtiaga got control of the ball when Alberto Viana tried to sneak it across the goal line. Juan-Alfredo Gargollo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calisto Herias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute Humberto Urroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delgado Urtiaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 73 minutes, Calisto Herias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cucuy SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Calisto Herias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 76th minute, Cucuy SC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alberto Viana fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Alberto Vianas short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Delgado Urtiaga to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 82nd match minute, Cucuy SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Constante to maneuver through the defense. Cucuy SC's Delgado Urtiaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Urroz in the 88th minute of play.
