Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) UD Ayantar's Humberto Urroz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alberto Viana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Yépez Andueco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 6 minutes, Ascencio Duyos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pelagallo SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ascencio Duyos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alberto Ocerin scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juan-Alfredo Gargollo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luzuriaga Santaren charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luzuriaga Santaren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th minute, Luzuriaga Santaren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alberto Viana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Xayvion Portugal hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute Alberto Ocerin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan-Alfredo Gargollo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. UD Ayantar's Humberto Urroz got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The UD Ayantar players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pelagallo SC were winning 0-1.

After having played for 53 minutes, Ascencio Duyos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pelagallo SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ascencio Duyos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Cristian Montecino managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Ayantar's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Montecino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yépez Andueco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ascencio Duyos in the 62nd minute of play forced UD Ayantar's goalkeeper Juan-Alfredo Gargollo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alberto Ocerin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to UD Ayantar getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Xayvion Portugal hit a great ball. Alberto Ocerin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Pelagallo SC's Luzuriaga Santaren got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 76th match minute, UD Ayantar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xayvion Portugal to maneuver through the defense. Alberto Viana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Yépez Andueco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Montecino didn't get a good kick on the ball. The UD Ayantar supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Pelagallo SC's performance. The match ended with a win for Pelagallo SC.
