Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Figueroa Almuzara made the kick off which started today's match. CD Caicedo's Marco Tartales played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Figueroa Almuzara in the 6th minute of play. Roberto Caceo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rubén Sanz in the 8th minute of the match. Roberto Caceo came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by CD Caicedo's Rubén Sanz. But to his dismay, Rubén Sanz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 14th minute, CD Caicedo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Figueroa Almuzara fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Roberto Caceo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rubén Sanz in the 17th minute of the match. A collision led to Veintimilla SC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Franco Carcamo hit a great ball. Figueroa Almuzara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Marco Tartales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Oswaldo Vielva fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CD Caicedo's protests and gave Oswaldo Vielva a yellow card for diving instead. Oswaldo Vielva kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Marco Tartales took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Figueroa Almuzara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 29 minutes, Rubén Sanz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Caicedo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rubén Sanz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th match minute, Veintimilla SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernandez Carda to maneuver through the defense. Figueroa Almuzara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Marco Tartales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, CD Caicedo's Salas Betzanos got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind CD Caicedo's goalkeeper Marco Tartales, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Veintimilla SC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Marcelo Revuelta hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the match, Veintimilla SC's goal looked a bit too open when Xelo Erus came free, but Roberto Caceo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, CD Caicedo's Xelo Erus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roberto Caceo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Rubén Sanz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xelo Erus in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Roberto Caceo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 54th minute, Rubén Sanz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Salas Betzanos hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute of the match José-Francisco Eradi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marco Tartales showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Figueroa Almuzara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Marco Tartales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the game, one of CD Caicedo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 74th minute there was a penalty for Veintimilla SC. José-Francisco Eradi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Marco Tartales. 1-1. After 80 minutes, José-Francisco Baul mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Caicedo and the Veintimilla SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee gave Veintimilla SC a penalty, 81 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by José-Francisco Eradi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of CD Caicedo's Marco Tartales. 2-1. 85 minutes into the match, Veintimilla SC's goal looked a bit too open when Rubén Sanz came free, but Roberto Caceo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Veintimilla SC's Roberto Caceo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Veintimilla SC from getting a goal against them.
