The supporters of Verno booed when Moraspungo SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moisés Marigorta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santo Ocaña's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dennis Deza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dennis Deza showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Denis Ruano made the kick off in the second half. Santo Ocaña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Dennis Deza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Moraspungo SC's Yoelvis Cabrerizo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Brito Castellanos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Juan-Carlos Carretero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Dennis Deza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Moraspungo SC's goalkeeper Dennis Deza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 69 minutes Moraspungo SC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nicolás Garmendia who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Verno's corner Nicolás Garmendia fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dennis Deza quite easily take care of the ball. In the 71st minute, Yoelvis Cabrerizo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Verno's zone, Denis Ruano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brito Castellanos came out of the goal and Denis Ruano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Leonardo Sobejano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moraspungo SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonardo Sobejano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brito Castellanos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Brito Castellanos was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Leonardo Sobejano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leonardo Sobejano really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Brito Castellanos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Ruano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Ruano in the 82nd minute of play forced Verno's goalkeeper Brito Castellanos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Santo Ocaña managed to get in a good position for a shot. Verno's supporters rose to their feet, but Santo Ocaña was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dennis Deza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Moraspungo SC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
