Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Verno's Brito Castellanos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Verno from getting a goal against them. Zavior Lanzon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Brito Castellanos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 9 minutes, Leandro Sarries mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Verno and the Chiguan players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th match minute, Verno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Sarries to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 11 minutes, Ibarra Pato managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chiguan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ibarra Pato was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Juan-Carlos Carretero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Celso Bozo charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celso Bozo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 23 minutes into the game, Juan-Carlos Carretero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Vincent Viñaspre was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zavior Lanzon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Brito Castellanos came out and tried to block the shot, but Zavior Lanzon slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 26th minute. After 30 played minutes Chiguan got a freekick which was hit by Casado Moron. When Juan-Carlos Carretero came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Verno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan-Carlos Carretero couldn't finish the play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Santo Ocaña to make the kick off. Brito Castellanos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Bozo in the 51st minute of the match. If Zavior Lanzon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Juan-Carlos Carretero came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Verno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan-Carlos Carretero couldn't finish the play. Verno's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
