Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Orlando Loaisa kicked off to start the match. CD Inga's Xosepin Urriola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Baza in the 4th minute of play. Ponce Carrion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Loaisa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Caicedo Ason had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antonio Astola hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Ponce Carrion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavierlada Avina in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Orlando Loaisa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ponce Carrion was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Orlando Loaisa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Orlando Loaisa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ponce Carrion was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augusto Baza in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xosepin Urriola prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Caicedo Ason could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Xosepin Urriola made a huge save. Caicedo Ason sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 34 played minutes Augusto Baza rounded CD Inga's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Augusto Baza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xosepin Urriola having to interfere. Caicedo Ason fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xosepin Urriola having to interfere. When Augusto Baza came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Yatancocha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Baza couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Augusto Baza made a kick off. When Fiallos Mazuca fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yatancocha's protests and gave Fiallos Mazuca a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th minute, Fiallos Mazuca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xavierlada Avina took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ponce Carrion. Ponce Carrion dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Veronica Rello was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 68th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. CD Inga's Lavallén Luciano shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 70th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ponce Carrion but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Baza in the 75th minute of play forced CD Inga's goalkeeper Xosepin Urriola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Caicedo Ason had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 81st minute, Alexandro Rechani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute of the match Antonio Astola shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ponce Carrion showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Orlando Loaisa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the game, Loco Leira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CD Inga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yatancocha the free kick. In the 94th minute, Loco Leira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
