After a defensive mix-up in Lubushcu's zone, Caicedo Ason stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Moiselo came out of the goal and Caicedo Ason tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute Augusto Baza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Moiselo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Caicedo Ason ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabio Moiselo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Wilfredo Yturrondo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 47th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With an all-out effort, Lubushcu's Ponce Carrion threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Wilfredo Yturrondo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Alexandro Rechani hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Augusto Baza to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Augusto Baza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Moiselo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Wilfredo Yturrondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Augusto Baza in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabio Moiselo saved Lubushcu from getting behind. Fabio Moiselo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 88 played minutes Lubushcu got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Resines. In the 92nd minute Augusto Baza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Moiselo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
