Javier Belorado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Umbruso Trevilla in the 16th minute of the match. Javier Belorado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Umbruso Trevilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Xinaro Tolosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Francisco, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 45th match minute, Paluga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Pastrana to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victor Francisco made a kick off. After 54 minutes of play, CD Maldonado's Roger Goma made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Javier Belorado was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Umbruso Trevilla came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the CD Maldonado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Umbruso Trevilla couldn't finish the play. 71 minutes into the game, Trota Moral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paluga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CD Maldonado the free kick. Umbruso Trevilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Javier Belorado having to interfere. The Paluga players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented CD Maldonado from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
