The referee showed Victorio Vilarrubia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Julian Beloso kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Camilo Senderos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Coro, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. If Victorio Pradias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hector-Luis Alcubierre in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Hurtaran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hector-Luis Alcubierre scored 1-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Hurtaran, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 22 played minutes Arrayancucho got a freekick which was hit by Xantalen Arnero. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector-Luis Alcubierre in the 24th minute of play forced Arrayancucho's goalkeeper Ricardo Hurtaran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sandro Granero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Camilo Senderos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Vilcabamba's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Coro came free, but Camilo Senderos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sandro Granero struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Camilo Senderos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arrayancucho. If Victorio Pradias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hector-Luis Alcubierre made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Jacinto Coro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 55 minutes into the game, Vilcabamba's Victorio Pradias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Hurtaran made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. If Victorio Pradias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 66 played minutes Arrayancucho got a freekick which was hit by Barros Cardet. Jacinto Coro might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Camilo Senderos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jacinto Coro ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Asencio Allo during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Asencio Allo kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Vilcabamba's Patricio Bascal got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 87 minutes into the game, Vilcabamba's Victorio Pradias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
