With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolas Diestro in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Hurtaran saved Arrayancucho from getting behind. When Julian Beloso fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arrayancucho's protests and gave Julian Beloso a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th match minute, Arrayancucho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian Beloso to maneuver through the defense. Santiago Guiza was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 7th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Nando Llamazares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Ricardo Hurtaran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute, CD Opar's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jacinto Coro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Sandro Granero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yoelvis Matias having to interfere. In the 18th minute, one of CD Opar:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CD Opar. In the 24th minute Nicolas Diestro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Hurtaran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sandro Granero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yoelvis Matias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Ricardo Hurtaran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nando Llamazares in the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Nando Llamazares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nicolas Diestro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nando Llamazares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Diestro in the 45th minute of play forced Arrayancucho's goalkeeper Ricardo Hurtaran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nando Llamazares scored 1-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Hurtaran, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nicolas Diestro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind CD Opar's goalkeeper Yoelvis Matias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nando Llamazares got free with Ricardo Hurtaran in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 95 minutes, Nicolas Diestro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Opar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolas Diestro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. CD Opar were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
