CD Juigua's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arrayancucho the free kick. After a rather tough play, CD Juigua's Boris Cagigas got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 41st minute Sandro Granero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Motel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Arrayancucho! The referee gave CD Juigua a penalty, 43 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Leon Sambrano, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Arrayancucho's Ricardo Hurtaran. 1-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sandro Granero was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xantalen Arnero during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Estacio Mexia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Arrayancucho booed when CD Juigua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chiriboga Lemayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Estacio Mexia hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. If Jonathan Olazarra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 73 minutes of play, CD Juigua's Estacio Mexia made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Hurtaran was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 87th minute, Rodrigo Aquejano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Olazarra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Hurtaran having to interfere. Vilson Goiti kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. CD Juigua's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
