Sánchez Vozmediano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Tormejon having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, UD Pucango's goal looked a bit too open when Sánchez Vozmediano came free, but Marcelino Tormejon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venceslas Manrique's late challenge caught a CD Chavez's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Venceslas Manrique helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to UD Pucango getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Venceslas Manrique hit a great ball. Lorenzo Imaz came out of the goal and Xarles Lombraña tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When UD Pucango's Martinez Mezcano in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. UD Pucango's Martinez Mezcano got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in CD Chavez's zone, Martinez Mezcano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lorenzo Imaz came out of the goal and Martinez Mezcano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martinez Briones during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Martinez Briones hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Marcelino Tormejon was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Urtsua Morras capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. In the 78th match minute, UD Pucango was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martinez Mezcano to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sánchez Vozmediano got free with Marcelino Tormejon in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. UD Pucango's Marcelino Tormejon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urtsua Morras in the 88th minute of play. During the 91st minute of the match Suárez Gurbista completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Suárez Gurbista a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Suárez Gurbista hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 95th match minute, UD Pucango was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rosario Madinabeitia to maneuver through the defense. The UD Pucango supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching CD Chavez's performance. The match ended with a win for CD Chavez.
