CD Casateja's Augusto Bobadilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nixon Caldeiro in the 7th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Sixto Prieto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute, Oscar Urroz made a precise shot to the right of Lavalle Huemen. Mogollon FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Mogollon FC's Lavalle Huemen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Mogollon FC from getting a goal against them. Lavalle Huemen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Urroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute, Sixto Prieto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 21st minute, Fabio Saco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the match, Nixon Caldeiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Augusto Bobadilla. CD Casateja's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nixon Caldeiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Augusto Bobadilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixto Prieto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sixto Prieto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. CD Casateja's Xzaiver Riba got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Mogollon FC's zone, Oscar Urroz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lavalle Huemen came out of the goal and Oscar Urroz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sixto Prieto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Augusto Bobadilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 40 minutes of play CD Casateja's Fabio Saco was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Fabio Saco kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Oscar Urroz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Mogollon FC's Lavalle Huemen got control of the ball when Xzaiver Riba tried to sneak it across the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xzaiver Riba was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, CD Casateja's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nixon Caldeiro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, CD Casateja's Felix Irabien got a free kick in the 57th minute. Augusto Bobadilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixto Prieto in the 59th minute of play. Sixto Prieto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Bobadilla having to interfere. Sixto Prieto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd match minute, Mogollon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerson Rubin to maneuver through the defense. Xzaiver Riba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lavalle Huemen having to interfere. Lavalle Huemen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xzaiver Riba, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nixon Caldeiro got free with Augusto Bobadilla in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sixto Prieto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Augusto Bobadilla having to make a save. After 86 minutes of play, Mogollon FC's Nixon Caldeiro made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Augusto Bobadilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of CD Casateja booed when Mogollon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerson Rubin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Mogollon FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mogollon FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
