Estrada Artechevezuen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixto Prieto in the 10th minute of play. Nixon Caldeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. When Urti Ibarra fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mogollon FC's protests and gave Urti Ibarra a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Mogollon FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Urti Ibarra hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, Mogollon FC's goalkeeper Lavalle Huemen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leo Chavarri. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Xavian Acenero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bastilla's supporters rose to their feet, but Xavian Acenero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lavalle Huemen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jerson Rubin kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. If Leo Chavarri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Mogollon FC's Vernaza Cantiello got a free kick in the 37th minute. After taking down the ball on Bastilla's corner Sotomayor Urguia fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lavalle Huemen quite easily take care of the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Xavian Acenero to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Bastilla booed when Mogollon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Díaz Salazar didn't get a good kick on the ball. One of Bastilla:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mogollon FC:s goal. When Nixon Caldeiro came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Mogollon FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nixon Caldeiro couldn't finish the play. Nixon Caldeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute.
