Chumblin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ximun Bergas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Santiago Lordaliego fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Morales Reizabal having to interfere. Morales Reizabal was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Santiago Lordaliego showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 36 minute of play. In the 38th match minute, Chumblin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bran Tu to maneuver through the defense. Alex Pedroso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Ceron in the 39th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 54th minute, Rodolfo Ceron got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The shot was stopped by Alex Pedroso but with some difficulty. If José-Francisco Raimundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodolfo Ceron struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Alex Pedroso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Panki's supporters rose to their feet, but José-Francisco Raimundo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alex Pedroso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 92 minutes into the match, Panki's José-Francisco Raimundo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alex Pedroso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Panki booed when Chumblin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bran Tu didn't get a good kick on the ball.
