Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Xayvion Olañeta started the match with the kick off. Xaver Delatorre kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Ursino Mañes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xulian Iruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. George Villagra received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Roman Albisu came out and tried to block the shot, but George Villagra slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 17th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xayvion Olañeta in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ursino Mañes saved CD Quinchul from getting behind. Xayvion Olañeta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ursino Mañes having to interfere. Jonathan Valea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabio Vilamajo got free with Roman Albisu in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Jonathan Valea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Xulian Iruz managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Patahuasi's supporters rose to their feet, but Xulian Iruz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ursino Mañes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th minute Xayvion Olañeta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ursino Mañes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Rodrigo Godoy fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CD Quinchul's protests and gave Rodrigo Godoy a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th minute, Rodrigo Godoy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xayvion Olañeta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the CD Quinchul defense, Xulian Iruz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ursino Mañes. The CD Quinchul fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ursino Mañes should have stopped the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonathan Valea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Jonathan Valea made a precise shot to the right of Roman Albisu. CD Patahuasi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Roman Albisu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Valea in the 62nd minute of the match. Fabio Vilamajo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabio Vilamajo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in CD Quinchul's zone, Xulian Iruz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ursino Mañes came out of the goal and Xulian Iruz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Felipe Ulibarri fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CD Patahuasi's protests and gave Felipe Ulibarri a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, CD Patahuasi's Felipe Ulibarri got a free kick in the 78th minute. After having played for 82 minutes, Jonathan Valea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Quinchul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Valea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angel Aleso's late challenge caught a CD Patahuasi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angel Aleso helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, CD Quinchul's Angel Aleso got a free kick in the 84th minute. Ursino Mañes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xayvion Olañeta in the 94th minute of play. CD Quinchul's Ursino Mañes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save CD Quinchul from getting a goal against them. 98 minutes into the game, Xayvion Olañeta lined in a short shot 3-2 behind a frustrated Ursino Mañes. CD Patahuasi's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
