If Michael Cañarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramon Monelo made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Ramirez Gao sent off a good shot on target. Denis Ferreiras struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Xayveon Viniambres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD Guachapeli. Toguayuambi's Xayveon Viniambres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Ferreiras in the 93rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Michael Cañarte managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Guachapeli's supporters rose to their feet, but Michael Cañarte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xayveon Viniambres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Michael Cañarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toguayuambi's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
