Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After 3 minutes of play, Marcopamba's Torres Caldueño made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomas Vaquerizo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hernando Hornedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubarna Villaseñor, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. If Ubarna Villaseñor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Juan-Angel Trullols came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the CD Shishi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan-Angel Trullols couldn't finish the play. An unexpected shot in the 20th minute by Torres Caldueño got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Quiróz Jaurigui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Torres Caldueño could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Tomas Vaquerizo made a huge save. In the 30th minute, Torres Caldueño got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubarna Villaseñor in the 38th minute of play forced Marcopamba's goalkeeper Hernando Hornedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Romulo Leizaur fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marcopamba's protests and gave Romulo Leizaur a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th minute, Romulo Leizaur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hernando Hornedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ubarna Villaseñor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodney Aceves during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rodney Aceves hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Torres Caldueño blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tomas Vaquerizo having to make a save. 57 minutes into the game, Leonardo Iranzo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CD Shishi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marcopamba the free kick. A collision led to CD Shishi getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Leonardo Iranzo hit a great ball. Tomas Vaquerizo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quiróz Jaurigui in the 59th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Neicer Pamo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 60 minutes, Torres Caldueño managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marcopamba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torres Caldueño was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 62 minutes into the game, one of CD Shishi:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 67 played minutes Marcopamba got a freekick which was hit by Torres Caldueño. Ubarna Villaseñor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernando Hornedo having to interfere. In the 77th minute of the match, Neicer Pamo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hernando Hornedo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 82 minutes, Arboleda Tufiño mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marcopamba and the CD Shishi players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Marcopamba's Arboleda Tufiño got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Ubarna Villaseñor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan-Angel Trullols recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Marcopamba fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 93rd minute. Penalty! The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Marcopamba were victorious despite being under pressure from CD Shishi for much of the match.
