Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Diego Salabaste made the kick off which started today's match. Yader Heyros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jimmy Cascallana in the 6th minute. Diego Salabaste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in UD Rumichaca's zone, Jimmy Cascallana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yader Heyros came out of the goal and Jimmy Cascallana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. German Izana took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Yader Heyros. UD Rumichaca's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Yader Lombraña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Maximo Borregon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Carlos-Alberto Munet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jimmy Cascallana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Jimmy Cascallana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yader Lombraña in the 37th minute of play forced CD Balsa's goalkeeper Maximo Borregon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yader Lombraña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Maximo Borregon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute Carlos-Alberto Munet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Borregon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 48th minute, Carlos-Alberto Munet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Yader Lombraña might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maximo Borregon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yader Lombraña ran back to his position shaking his head. After 56 played minutes CD Balsa got a freekick which was hit by Sandro Elola. Diego Salabaste kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After some careless play in the CD Balsa defense, Yader Lombraña kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maximo Borregon. The CD Balsa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maximo Borregon should have stopped the shot. In the 63rd match minute, UD Rumichaca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Díaz Rico to maneuver through the defense. Carlos-Alberto Munet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Borregon having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos-Alberto Munet in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximo Borregon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carlos-Alberto Munet struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Maximo Borregon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UD Rumichaca. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Yader Lombraña managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Rumichaca's supporters rose to their feet, but Yader Lombraña was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximo Borregon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. UD Rumichaca's Carlos-Alberto Munet got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Yader Lombraña came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the UD Rumichaca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yader Lombraña couldn't finish the play. 80 minutes into the game, Oso Agües was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CD Balsa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UD Rumichaca the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in CD Balsa fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 80th minute. Penalty! In the 81st minute there was a penalty for UD Rumichaca. Díaz Rico stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Maximo Borregon. 0-3. When Leon Ontoria fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UD Rumichaca's protests and gave Leon Ontoria a yellow card for diving instead. Jimmy Cascallana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yader Heyros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. After having played for 89 minutes, Carlos-Alberto Munet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UD Rumichaca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos-Alberto Munet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jimmy Cascallana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sandro Elola kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. When Carlos-Alberto Munet came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the UD Rumichaca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos-Alberto Munet couldn't finish the play. The CD Balsa fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. UD Rumichaca were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
