The audience was convinced that Diego Salabaste's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Almandoz Zubeldia was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Pallacocha FC's Almandoz Zubeldia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimmy Cascallana in the 26th minute of play. Almandoz Zubeldia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Salabaste, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 36 minutes of play, Pallacocha FC's Americo Sudupe made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maximo Borregon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Xoan Masses kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Diego Salabaste made a kick off. When Americo Sudupe fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pallacocha FC's protests and gave Americo Sudupe a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Pallacocha FC's Americo Sudupe got a free kick in the 58th minute. A collision led to Pallacocha FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Leonides Simon hit a great ball. If Juan-Carlos Quijada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diego Salabaste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xoan Masses during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Xoan Masses hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Maximo Borregon was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 92nd match minute, Pallacocha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerson Larios to maneuver through the defense. Jimmy Cascallana's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 94thth minute, Almandoz Zubeldia skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Many of CD Balsa's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. CD Balsa may have spent more time on the ball, but Pallacocha FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
