Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Diego Salabaste got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of CD Balsa booed when CD Medrano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esterilla Arando didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Valencia Trigo managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Medrano's supporters rose to their feet, but Valencia Trigo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximo Borregon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. CD Medrano's Xanti Cazares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Salabaste in the 17th minute of play. CD Medrano were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after CD Balsa's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Blandón Laranga took the corner. The corner ended in Blandón Laranga almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but CD Balsa's Maximo Borregon did a great save. In the 32nd minute, Diego Salabaste made a precise shot to the right of Xanti Cazares. CD Medrano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Xanti Cazares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimmy Cascallana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xanti Cazares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diego Salabaste's shot from short distance in the 41st minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valencia Trigo was the one to do the kick off. If Efrain Monelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 54 minutes, Victoriano Argos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Medrano and the CD Balsa players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th match minute, CD Medrano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victoriano Argos to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the CD Balsa defense, Valencia Trigo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maximo Borregon. The CD Balsa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maximo Borregon should have stopped the shot. Diego Salabaste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xanti Cazares was a little too slow when Diego Salabaste got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 1-3. CD Medrano's Xanti Cazares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Salabaste in the 92nd minute of play. Jimmy Cascallana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xanti Cazares having to interfere. Valencia Trigo struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Maximo Borregon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD Medrano. The CD Balsa players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
