When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Trota Iturrate put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Eduardo Laso. Erwin Abeita's late challenge caught a Tahuin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erwin Abeita helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th minute, Erwin Abeita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Lucio Sator's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reyes Gipils was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. When Lucio Sator came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Tahuin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucio Sator couldn't finish the play. Reyes Gipils came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Tahuin's Sergio Folch. But to his dismay, Sergio Folch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in UD Galope's zone, Sergio Folch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reyes Gipils came out of the goal and Sergio Folch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Trota Iturrate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Trota Iturrate received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Eduardo Laso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xuan Vado during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eduardo Laso went to the wrong direction when Patricio Aller was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Ferrer Marin made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, UD Galope was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erwin Abeita to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucio Sator in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reyes Gipils prevented the ball from getting in the gole. UD Galope's Reyes Gipils played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Sator in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferrer Marin in the 59th minute of play forced Tahuin's goalkeeper Eduardo Laso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reyes Gipils showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucio Sator, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Eduardo Laso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferrer Marin in the 67th minute of the match. Sergio Folch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Reyes Gipils tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
