Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cortez Sousa started the match with the kick off. In the 3rdth minute of the game España Cardeiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bombon's Alex Funes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 8 minutes into the match, UD Paloquin's goalkeeper Pablo Portochao had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Blandón Sarralde. After a rather tough play, UD Paloquin's Miguel Herreria got a free kick in the 9th minute. España Cardeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Alex Funes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. UD Paloquin's Pico Quejana got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bombon's Blandón Sarralde got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. España Cardeiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alex Funes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. España Cardeiro ran back to his position shaking his head. Pablo Portochao made an important save on a dangerous shot by Blandón Sarralde in the 22nd minute. Cortez Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cortez Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Pablo Portochao tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pico Quejana in the 33rd minute of play forced Bombon's goalkeeper Alex Funes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. España Cardeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Alex Funes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Blandón Sarralde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Portochao having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Bombon's goal looked a bit too open when Pico Quejana came free, but Alex Funes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
Pablo Portochao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cortez Sousa in the 52nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pico Quejana got free with Alex Funes in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pico Quejana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cortez Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Walter Garaizar's late challenge caught a UD Paloquin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Walter Garaizar helped the player get up and apologised. Walter Garaizar kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After 69 played minutes UD Paloquin got a freekick which was hit by Fabricio Somellero. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cortez Sousa in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pablo Portochao saved UD Paloquin from getting behind. If España Cardeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind UD Paloquin's goalkeeper Pablo Portochao, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, UD Paloquin's goal looked a bit too open when Cortez Sousa came free, but Pablo Portochao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, UD Paloquin's Vinicio Zaldierna got a free kick in the 94th minute. Bombon's Blandón Sarralde got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the UD Paloquin players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bombon.
