Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Pedro Benedid made the kick off which started today's match. When Loja SC's Uhin Masses in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Igualala's goalie prevented a goal. Walme Mina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Igualala's Zunbeltz Irazabal got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Loja SC's zone, Walme Mina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zumar Portera came out of the goal and Walme Mina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 9 minutes into the game, Perlaza Collante was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Loja SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Igualala the free kick. A collision led to Loja SC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Perlaza Collante hit a great ball. Zunbeltz Irazabal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Igualala's goalkeeper Maximo Reborio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Loja SC's Zumar Portera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zunbeltz Irazabal in the 21st minute of play. When Pedro Benedid fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Loja SC's protests and gave Pedro Benedid a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th match minute, Loja SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Benedid to maneuver through the defense. Felipe Barrueta kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Pedro Benedid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Reborio having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Zunbeltz Irazabal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Igualala's supporters rose to their feet, but Zunbeltz Irazabal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zumar Portera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 34thth minute of the game Uhin Masses who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Igualala's Maximo Reborio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Uhin Masses fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Reborio having to interfere. If Uhin Masses had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Zunbeltz Irazabal struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Zumar Portera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Igualala. Zumar Portera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walme Mina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zunbeltz Irazabal in the 57th minute of play forced Loja SC's goalkeeper Zumar Portera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Perlaza Collante received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maximo Reborio came out and tried to block the shot, but Perlaza Collante slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 60th minute. Zunbeltz Irazabal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zumar Portera having to interfere. If Walme Mina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zunbeltz Irazabal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Benedid's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maximo Reborio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. In the 97th minute of the match Xinto Dios sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maximo Reborio skillfully saved the ball. The Loja SC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
