Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Timoteo Villaquilambre got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Mauro Antoñano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Xaime Mendecute was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With his leg Bottero Picardo managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when UD Salanco's Xarles Portochao fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Timoteo Villaquilambre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Danilo Gopegui's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xaime Mendecute read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Xaime Mendecute made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Gopegui in the 23rd minute of play. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Mauro Antoñano sped through UD Salanco's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Xaime Mendecute. In the 29th minute, Xose Fontoya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Timoteo Villaquilambre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bottero Picardo having to interfere. If Xarles Portochao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bottero Picardo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Timoteo Villaquilambre's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Danilo Gopegui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xaime Mendecute having to interfere. After a rather tough play, UD Salanco's Paredes Sombredo got a free kick in the 44th minute. Alvaro Espinola was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 46th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mauro Antoñano was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Paredes Sombredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute Mauro Antoñano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xaime Mendecute saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mauro Antoñano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Xaime Mendecute tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. UD Sanambay's Bottero Picardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xarles Portochao in the 76th minute of play. Xaime Mendecute made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Danilo Gopegui sent off a good shot on target. In the 79th minute Timoteo Villaquilambre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bottero Picardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After recieving a nice pass, UD Salanco's Paredes Sombredo tried to score from far away in the 82nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 88 minutes into the match, UD Salanco's Xarles Portochao sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bottero Picardo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Timoteo Villaquilambre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Bottero Picardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched UD Sanambay eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
