Vinicio Portera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zabal Cerrabe, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Ramos Cortaza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Vinicio Portera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zabal Cerrabe in the 10th minute of play forced Chavez SC's goalkeeper Vinicio Portera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sacama's Ramos Cortaza got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan-Pablo Inchausti in the 15th minute of play forced Sacama's goalkeeper Julio Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 22 played minutes Sacama got a freekick which was hit by Klimowicz Marigorta. After recieving a nice pass, Chavez SC's Rene Caldueño tried to score from far away in the 23rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Zigor Rafales struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Julio Moreira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chavez SC. Ramos Cortaza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zigor Rafales in the 37th minute of the match. Zabal Cerrabe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th match minute, Sacama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klimowicz Marigorta to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan-Pablo Inchausti in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Moreira saved Sacama from getting behind. When Klimowicz Marigorta was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 46 minutes had been played. A collision led to Sacama getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Klimowicz Marigorta hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Ramos Cortaza made the kick off in the second half. Vinicio Portera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramos Cortaza's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. When Daniel Saboya fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chavez SC's protests and gave Daniel Saboya a yellow card for diving instead. In the 54th match minute, Chavez SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Saboya to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute, Chavez SC's Juan-Pablo Inchausti dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Julio Moreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan-Pablo Inchausti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rene Caldueño took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julio Moreira. Sacama's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Juan-Pablo Inchausti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reynaldo Ramin kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Rene Caldueño, 85 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Reynaldo Ramin charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reynaldo Ramin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Reynaldo Ramin kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Chavez SC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
