Bernardo Ilarraza's late challenge caught a CD Neikimentza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind CD Neikimentza's goalkeeper Sotomayor Onil, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pinto Arguiso kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Gilmar Jove fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sotomayor Onil having to interfere. 72 minutes into the game, Pinto Arguiso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CD Neikimentza's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chicticay the free kick. A collision led to CD Neikimentza getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Pinto Arguiso hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute, Peter Gorostieta fired a really elegant long shot, but Sotomayor Onil threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Chicticay's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Peter Gorostieta in the 76th minute. Valentine Armijo thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Sotomayor Onil, a very annoying self made goal in the 77th minute which led to 1-1. Pinto Arguiso kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After 84 played minutes CD Neikimentza got a freekick which was hit by Pinto Arguiso. Peter Gorostieta was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 85th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Sotomayor Onil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Mata in the 86th minute. Sotomayor Onil made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Julian Mata sent off a good shot on target. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
