Franco Dieguez didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Cangagua getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Juan Sobrefuentes hit a great ball. Fernando Castropan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genaro Villafranca, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Genaro Villafranca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Fernando Castropan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fortunato Burgos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the match, Cangagua's goal looked a bit too open when Fortunato Burgos came free, but Ordóñez Esqueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Cangagua's goalkeeper Ordóñez Esqueira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zeledon Pablo. In the 35th minute, Kaviedes Justo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Chandil getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Ordóñez Muñoa hit a great ball. Ordóñez Esqueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fortunato Burgos in the 41st minute of play. Zeledon Pablo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Ordóñez Esqueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paco Fonoll hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, Cangagua's Murillo Reguera got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After 54 minutes of play, Chandil's Zeledon Pablo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ordóñez Esqueira was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 62nd minute, Murillo Reguera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Cangagua's zone, Fortunato Burgos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ordóñez Esqueira came out of the goal and Fortunato Burgos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Chandil's Fernando Castropan got control of the ball when Kaviedes Justo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zeledon Pablo took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ordóñez Esqueira. Ordóñez Esqueira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 76 minutes into the match, Chandil's goal looked a bit too open when Genaro Villafranca came free, but Fernando Castropan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 76 played minutes Chandil got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Pelayo. After a rather tough play, Cangagua's Paco Fonoll got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 81st minute Genaro Villafranca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Castropan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kaviedes Justo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Fernando Castropan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Genaro Villafranca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd match minute, Chandil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luzuriaga Alejandro to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the match, Chandil's goal looked a bit too open when Genaro Villafranca came free, but Fernando Castropan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 97 minutes into the match, Chandil's goalkeeper Fernando Castropan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kaviedes Justo. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Chandil had won after a very even match.
