Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Zayvion Morelos got the match started through his kick off. Xilo Saavedra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bustos Arbulo having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelo Tamayo got free with Bustos Arbulo in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 18 minutes into the match, Marcelo Tamayo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bustos Arbulo. Eufemia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcelo Tamayo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Oscar Melgosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Torneira having to interfere. Zorion Cuquejo kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. If Marcelo Tamayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bustos Arbulo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xilo Saavedra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oscar Melgosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Octavio Torneira came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Eufemia's Oscar Melgosa. But to his dismay, Oscar Melgosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 46th minute, Polo Bobadilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Xilo Saavedra to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Xilo Saavedra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gulag's supporters rose to their feet, but Xilo Saavedra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bustos Arbulo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Marcelo Tamayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vigil Udaeta charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vigil Udaeta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 60th match minute, Eufemia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vigil Udaeta to maneuver through the defense. Gulag's Marcelo Tamayo got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eufemia's Bustos Arbulo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Tamayo in the 66th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcelo Tamayo in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bustos Arbulo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 67thth minute of the game Marcelo Tamayo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eufemia's Bustos Arbulo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Vasco Pelaci fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gulag's protests and gave Vasco Pelaci a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th minute Eufemia were awarded a corner. Zorion Cuquejo went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Zorion Cuquejo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Octavio Torneira quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Segio Infante charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Segio Infante the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Eufemia booed when Gulag was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Segio Infante didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eufemia were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Gulag's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zorion Cuquejo took the corner. Eufemia's Zorion Cuquejo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Octavio Torneira in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Zayvion Morelos came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Eufemia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zayvion Morelos couldn't finish the play. Segio Infante got his second yellow card in the match during the 88th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Gulag getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Segio Infante hit a great ball. Zorion Cuquejo, 90 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Eufemia's Oscar Melgosa got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Marcelo Tamayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Eufemia players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Gulag from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
