In the 2nd match minute, Higueroncito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Venceslao Inclan to maneuver through the defense. Higueroncito's Mauro Alvarez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duarte Puredo in the 3rd minute of play. When Tuguduaja FC's Klimowitz Adornio in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Venceslao Inclan charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Venceslao Inclan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 17 played minutes Higueroncito got a freekick which was hit by Venceslao Inclan. Venceslao Inclan kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Tuguduaja FC's Clemente Alejandro couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 19th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Higueroncito. Diego Urrutia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Armando Cuevas made a huge save. The supporters of Higueroncito booed when Tuguduaja FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernandez Sande didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Higueroncito getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Marin Abeyta hit a great ball. When Fernandez Sande came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Tuguduaja FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernandez Sande couldn't finish the play. Armando Cuevas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Reboredo in the 31st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Lisandro Reboredo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Higueroncito's supporters rose to their feet, but Lisandro Reboredo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Cuevas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Tuguduaja FC's zone, Dani Bueres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Cuevas came out of the goal and Dani Bueres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mauro Alvarez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duarte Puredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Lisandro Reboredo made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Duarte Puredo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tuguduaja FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Duarte Puredo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauro Alvarez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klimowitz Adornio in the 58th minute of play forced Higueroncito's goalkeeper Mauro Alvarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute Klimowitz Adornio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Alvarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mauro Alvarez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klimowitz Adornio in the 62nd minute of the match. Fernandez Sande charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Armando Cuevas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Urrutia, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Klimowitz Adornio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Mauro Alvarez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute of the match, Klimowitz Adornio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mauro Alvarez saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Higueroncito's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
