Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alberto Mir took the kick off in the first half of the match. Cordero Piñera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Mir in the 4th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Manuel Proaño reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Armando Moniz. The goal made the score 1-0. Cordero Piñera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xulio Pedrosa's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Ambatillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Mir came free, but Cordero Piñera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xulio Pedrosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Cordero Piñera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ambatillo FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 28th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Sordeleg SC a penalty, 29 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Humberto Gaitan, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ambatillo FC's Cordero Piñera. 1-1. In the 36th minute, Manuel Proaño fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Armando Moniz, passed just outside the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Manuel Proaño kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Armando Moniz. That made the score 2-1 in the 41 minute of play. When Xorxe Viciola fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sordeleg SC's protests and gave Xorxe Viciola a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ambatillo FC booed when Sordeleg SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xorxe Viciola didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manuel Proaño was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 60 minutes, Xzavion Herrara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ambatillo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xzavion Herrara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Sordeleg SC's Moisés Baroja got a free kick in the 62nd minute. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Manuel Proaño put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Armando Moniz. 67 minutes into the match, Sordeleg SC's Xulio Pedrosa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cordero Piñera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Sordeleg SC's goalkeeper Armando Moniz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Xulio Pedrosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Urki Balsera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armando Moniz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Manuel Proaño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Moniz having to interfere. Armando Moniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Proaño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 88 minutes, Manuel Proaño made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Sordeleg SC's Armando Moniz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Xulio Pedrosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cordero Piñera having to interfere. Ambatillo FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sordeleg SC for a fine match.
