The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Sordeleg SC's Xorxe Viciola got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 3rd minute, Villafuerte Camudio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sordeleg SC's goalkeeper Armando Moniz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alberto Mir blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rolando Vellon having to make a save. After 13 played minutes Sordeleg SC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos-Alberto Pellon. Diego Villasuso hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Xulio Pedrosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Rolando Vellon made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Mir in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Vellon saved Nag SC from getting behind. Sordeleg SC's Armando Moniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Villafuerte Camudio in the 23rd minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Nag SC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Mir came free, but Rolando Vellon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sordeleg SC's goalkeeper Armando Moniz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luis Jetino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xorxe Viciola during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 33 played minutes Sordeleg SC got a freekick which was hit by Xorxe Viciola. Armando Moniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Villafuerte Camudio in the 36th minute of play. Luis Jetino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Moniz having to interfere. Rolando Vellon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Mir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute, Alberto Mir fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Rolando Vellon, passed just outside the right post. If Alberto Mir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rolando Vellon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Xulio Pedrosa went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Alberto Mir made the kick off in the second half. Rolando Vellon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xulio Pedrosa in the 65th minute of the match. Alberto Mir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Vellon having to interfere. Xulio Pedrosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Armando Moniz managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Nag SC's Villafuerte Camudio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Rolando Vellon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xulio Pedrosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 97 minutes into the match, Sordeleg SC's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Jetino came free, but Armando Moniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sordeleg SC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
