With an all-out effort, Seman FC's Vela Longar threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cristian Barria, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Urbasa Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cristal's supporters rose to their feet, but Urbasa Andrade was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amador Carbasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Cristal's zone, William Mendizabal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vela Longar came out of the goal and William Mendizabal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. William Mendizabal in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vela Longar, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 24 minutes into the match, Cristian Barria dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vela Longar, 1-0. If Urbasa Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cristal's Vela Longar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Cristal from getting a goal against them. Amador Carbasa came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Cristal's Zoilo Suesa. But to his dismay, Zoilo Suesa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2.
The wind increased when Cristian Barria made the kick off in the second half. Cristal's Zoilo Suesa got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zoilo Suesa struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Amador Carbasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cristal. Seman FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Zoilo Suesa scored to the left of an out of position Amador Carbasa, making the score, 1-3. William Mendizabal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
