When Flavio Arzuriaga fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CD Machetajero's protests and gave Flavio Arzuriaga a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st minute, Flavio Arzuriaga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Suscal Parcerices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Hernan Pons, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 24 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Zornin Prieto was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Lisandro Uralde's late challenge caught a Turupamba FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lisandro Uralde helped the player get up and apologised. Lisandro Uralde kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. CD Machetajero's Reasco Villaelrriego got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Camacho Toraño during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Camacho Toraño kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Zornin Prieto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Suscal Parcerices in the 43rd minute of play. Reasco Villaelrriego received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Lopez Mallen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute Vasco Trielles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lopez Mallen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vasco Trielles to make the kick off. Vasco Trielles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lopez Mallen having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, CD Machetajero's Vasco Trielles dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Pons in the 69th minute of play forced CD Machetajero's goalkeeper Zornin Prieto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lopez Mallen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reasco Villaelrriego went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Lopez Mallen didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when CD Machetajero's Reasco Villaelrriego shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-3 in the ordered_time% minute. If Reasco Villaelrriego had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Turupamba FC's Hernandez Berges got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The Turupamba FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. CD Machetajero were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
