Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Nueva SC's Pio Palmades started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Uhin Barbosa fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Xulian Tenorio, passed just outside the right post. Xulian Tenorio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uhin Barbosa in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Huaquillas FC's goalkeeper Franco Lete, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uhin Barbosa in the 7th minute of play forced Nueva SC's goalkeeper Xulian Tenorio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Huaquillas FC's Xulian Tenorio threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Uhin Barbosa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 18th minute Zxavian Yanguas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Lete saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erick Liquiñano kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. If Zxavian Yanguas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Zxavian Yanguas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Franco Lete was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Franco Lete showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pio Palmades in the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Ximun Valdecañas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Uhin Barbosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xulian Tenorio having to interfere. Julian Valonga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th minute, George Porregimon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zxavian Yanguas scored 0-2 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Franco Lete, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Nueva SC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Uhin Barbosa made a kick off. Huaquillas FC's Franco Lete played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pio Palmades in the 55th minute of play. Huaquillas FC's Uhin Barbosa got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 64 minutes into the match, Huaquillas FC's Rogelio Rivadeneira broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 66th minute Uhin Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xulian Tenorio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Nueva SC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Carnero Fandoz hit a great ball. When Julian Valonga came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Huaquillas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Valonga couldn't finish the play. In the 71st minute, Nando Reguera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 80 minutes, Julian Valonga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huaquillas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Valonga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Uhin Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Xulian Tenorio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Franco Lete made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zxavian Yanguas in the 87th minute. Pio Palmades fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franco Lete having to interfere. If Zxavian Yanguas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
