Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ascencio Basante made the kick off which started today's match. Ascencio Basante took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Quiñónez Iraegui. Quiñónez Iraegui dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 8th minute Ascencio Basante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quiñónez Iraegui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Quiñónez Iraegui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ascencio Basante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Quiñónez Iraegui stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ascencio Basante's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. After 13 played minutes Zambeza got a freekick which was hit by Juan-Pablo Avellano. After a defensive mix-up in Zambeza's zone, Juan Araoz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Quiñónez Iraegui came out of the goal and Juan Araoz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Juan Araoz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Quiñónez Iraegui was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Valentin Inclan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Elias Correduria when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 33 played minutes Daligshi got a freekick which was hit by Juan Araoz. Valentin Inclan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Elias Correduria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Zambeza's goal looked a bit too open when Ascencio Basante came free, but Quiñónez Iraegui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pepito Celis's late challenge caught a Zambeza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pepito Celis helped the player get up and apologised. Pepito Celis kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Zambeza's Valentin Inclan got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ubelteso Balda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ubelteso Balda stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Ubelteso Balda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zambeza's supporters rose to their feet, but Ubelteso Balda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elias Correduria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valentin Inclan in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elias Correduria prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Valentin Inclan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Elias Correduria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Juan Araoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ascencio Basante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Quiñónez Iraegui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Zambeza booed when Daligshi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xicu Lagala didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zambeza's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Daligshi the free kick. Zenaido Forcada kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Quiñónez Iraegui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ascencio Basante in the 75th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan Araoz got free with Quiñónez Iraegui in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Ascencio Basante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Garival hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Juan Araoz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Quiñónez Iraegui having to make a save. Elias Correduria stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valentin Inclan's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. If Valentin Inclan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ascencio Basante's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Quiñónez Iraegui read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ascencio Basante in the 97th minute of play forced Zambeza's goalkeeper Quiñónez Iraegui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Daligshi eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
