Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 2nd minute of the game. One of Piedad:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Trancas:s goal. Trancas's Ovidio Montarco got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ovidio Montarco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Vasco Carcel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mina Salvado struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Mellington Olate didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piedad. In the 22nd minute, Cesar Muniz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Cesar Muniz fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trancas's protests and gave Cesar Muniz a yellow card for diving instead. After 24 played minutes Trancas got a freekick which was hit by Cesar Muniz. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Geovanny Beneit during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Piedad's Geovanny Beneit got a free kick in the 34th minute. 35 minutes into the match, Trancas's Ignacio Alpanseque broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Vasco Carcel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidio Montarco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ovidio Montarco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute, Braulio Royo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vasco Carcel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Montarco in the 42nd minute of play. If Ovidio Montarco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Mellington Olate managed to avoid a goal in the 47thth minute, when Piedad's Mina Salvado fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mina Salvado was the one to do the kick off. 59 minutes into the match, Piedad's goalkeeper Vasco Carcel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ovidio Montarco. Loco Zurita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mellington Olate read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Mina Salvado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mellington Olate was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. With a little luck, Piedad's Vasco Carcel got control of the ball when Ovidio Montarco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ovidio Montarco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mina Salvado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mellington Olate showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José-Luis Taboada, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 92nd minute, Mina Salvado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94th minute José-Luis Taboada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mellington Olate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Piedad were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Trancas for a fine match.
