A very good chance. In the 14th minute, Perlaza Petino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Perlaza Petino took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xavon Bellogin. Xavon Bellogin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After 22 played minutes CD Rodas got a freekick which was hit by Fernandez Abel. In the 24th match minute, Cordero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Larez to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute of the match, Guillermo Almenara tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Francisco Ubach saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With an all-out effort, CD Rodas's Francisco Ubach threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Guillermo Almenara, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Cordero's Francisco Ubach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Suárez Boo in the 43rd minute of play. Xaven Tosantos was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 44 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the game, one of Cordero:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.

In the 66th minute Suárez Boo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Ubach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 99thth minute of the game Suárez Boo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cordero's Francisco Ubach was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The CD Rodas fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cordero had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
