Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Zuñiga Coria made the kick off which started today's match. 6 minutes into the match, UD Guabidilla's goal looked a bit too open when Blandón Ferreiras came free, but Villota Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blandón Ferreiras in the 8th minute of play forced UD Guabidilla's goalkeeper Villota Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Villota Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blandón Ferreiras in the 9th minute of the match. Villota Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blandón Ferreiras in the 12th minute of play. Francisco Ubach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xofre Cobo in the 15th minute of the match. Velasco Lebrija kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, UD Guabidilla's Xilo Henao tried to score from far away in the 19th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Blandón Ferreiras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 27 played minutes Cordero got a freekick which was hit by Santiago Navariega. Blandón Ferreiras hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Zuñiga Coria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Ubach having to interfere. In the 43rd minute UD Guabidilla were awarded a corner. Xilo Henao went to the cornerflag to take it. When Zuñiga Coria came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the UD Guabidilla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zuñiga Coria couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Freddy Sarantes's late challenge caught a UD Guabidilla's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Freddy Sarantes helped the player get up and apologised. Freddy Sarantes hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After 60 played minutes Zuñiga Coria rounded Cordero's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. The supporters of UD Guabidilla booed when Cordero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddy Sarantes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cordero's goalkeeper Francisco Ubach, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 76th match minute, Cordero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Velasco Lebrija to maneuver through the defense. If Zuñiga Coria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Santiago Navariega was shown his second yellow card after 83 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Xilo Henao was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 85th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 87th minute Zuñiga Coria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Ubach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Perlaza Petino in the 89th minute of play forced UD Guabidilla's goalkeeper Villota Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 92 played minutes UD Guabidilla got a freekick which was hit by Zuñiga Coria. Villota Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Perlaza Petino in the 93rd minute of play. Cordero succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though UD Guabidilla had controlled the match.
