Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alex Bacardi got the match started through his kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Rodas Falceto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lorenzo Elizondo. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. If Xuaco Ungia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victoriano Rivero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lorenzo Elizondo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Lorenzo Elizondo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodas Falceto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Yungulla SC's Danilo Falla got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Yungulla SC's goalkeeper Lorenzo Elizondo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of Pastocalle:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Yungulla SC:s goal. In the 29th minute there was a penalty for Yungulla SC. Danilo Falla stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Antonio Marban. 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodas Falceto made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Alex Bacardi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Yungulla SC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Hernandez Manriquez hit a great ball. After 56 played minutes, Pastocalle's Urre Lambriabe shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lorenzo Elizondo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pastocalle reached it. 65 minutes into the match, Pastocalle's Victoriano Rivero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lorenzo Elizondo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Rodas Falceto came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Pastocalle fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodas Falceto couldn't finish the play. Victoriano Rivero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodas Falceto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xuaco Ungia in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Antonio Marban, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Fidel Obiano hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute Rodas Falceto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorenzo Elizondo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Pastocalle booed when Yungulla SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Perlaza Herriaga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pastocalle were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after Yungulla SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Xorxe Aelle took the corner. After 89 minutes, Perlaza Herriaga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yungulla SC and the Pastocalle players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 89 played minutes Yungulla SC got a freekick which was hit by Perlaza Herriaga. After a defensive mix-up in Yungulla SC's zone, Victoriano Rivero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lorenzo Elizondo came out of the goal and Victoriano Rivero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
