The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tullapamba SC's Angel Varaona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodney Araña in the 4th minute of play. 7 minutes into the game, Jorge Domaquia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Texeira Arras was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Angel Varaona made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Cortez Guisla sent off a good shot on target. Eguiguren's Calderón Guim came free and shot a quick shot against goal 11 minutes in the game, fortunately Angel Varaona had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Jorge Domaquia might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Texeira Arras. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jorge Domaquia ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 17th minute, Rodney Araña got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Méndez Zaballos might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Texeira Arras. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Méndez Zaballos ran back to his position shaking his head. Jorge Domaquia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Texeira Arras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Méndez Zaballos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Texeira Arras having to interfere. Angel Varaona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodney Araña in the 37th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Tullapamba SC's goal looked a bit too open when Rodney Araña came free, but Angel Varaona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorge Domaquia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Texeira Arras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Eguiguren players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tullapamba SC were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Méndez Zaballos made the kick off in the second half. Asencio Lejarazu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 51st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Angel Varaona. Tullapamba SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Angel Varaona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodney Araña in the 54th minute of play. Texeira Arras made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jorge Domaquia in the 56th minute. The supporters of Eguiguren booed when Tullapamba SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Lamarta didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 59 played minutes, Eguiguren's Edwin Loza shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Angel Varaona came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Cortez Guisla hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Tullapamba SC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Eguiguren.
